If you ever wanted to try Macro Photography and have a DSLR, do I have a trick for you - Lens Reversing Rings
If you cant buy one, then simply disconnect your lens, flip it backwards, and (carefully) hold the glass to the lens opening on the camera body. Best used in a controlled environment, as your Focus Length (depth of image in focus) will be minuscule, and, unless you have a manual aperture lens, you will be stuck with fully open glass. In any case, this trick was my entry to the world of macro - I still use it today!
